In line with our succession plan and Rules, Brian Davidson stepped down from the role of Board Chairperson following our last Board meeting.
Brian has served in this role since 2019, following a period as Chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee. During his tenure, he has overseen important changes that have enabled Glasgow Credit Union to increase membership, strengthen governance, achieve continued financial growth, and remain sustainable during challenging times.
We sincerely thank Brian for his leadership and contribution and wish him well in his retirement.
We are confident he will continue to support the credit union and other organisations where he is involved.
As part of our internal process, we are delighted to announce that Sean Connor, CEO of Oaktree Housing Association, has been appointed as Brian’s successor.
Sean brings a wealth of public sector experience to the role, and we wish him every success as our new Chairperson.
