The role of a Glasgow Credit Union Workplace Ambassador is to: 

  • Aim towards referring at least five new members per year.
  • Consistently reflect Glasgow Credit Union core values and uphold our mission in interactions with colleagues.
  • Proactively initiate conversations with others to promote Glasgow Credit Union products and services.
  • Have the ability to interact with Glasgow Credit Union members and potential members effectively and professionally.
  • Share content and information about Glasgow Credit Union promotions and events through regular newsletters provided by the Glasgow Credit Union.
  • Stay up to date about current promotions and events as well as new and existing products and services.
  • Aim to attend at least one Glasgow Credit Union workshop or focus group per year to provide feedback or learn about the Credit Union’s products and services and increase understanding of the brand.
  • Share Glasgow Credit Union posts on social media applications, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, to increase Glasgow Credit Union brand awareness.
  • Update Glasgow Credit Union with any relevant information on my own workplace (e.g. recruitment drive, onboarding apprentices, new staff intranet/ noticeboard etc.)
