Richmond’s Hope received a £600 donation from Giving Glasgow. The charity is based in Ibrox Parish Church and provides support to children and young adults who have suffered a bereavement. Their dedicated team of bereavement workers help children on a one-to-one basis, providing a safe space for children to work through their grief, preserve their memories of the person who has died, and explore their feelings – allowing them to develop coping strategies.
As well as working directly with children and their families, the charity also works closely with local schools to ensure that teachers are provided with the skills to help support bereaved children.
