International Credit Union Day 2017

ICU Day 2017

Thursday 19th October is International Credit Union Day 2017, where members around the world will celebrate the credit union movement’s impact and achievements.

With over 235 million members in 109 countries worldwide, the 68,000+ credit unions in business today are a force for positive economic and social change. Glasgow Credit Union is proud to be part of this international credit union community.

International Credit Union Day has been celebrated annually Since 1948. This year’s theme, Dreams Thrive Here, celebrates how credit unions serve as catalysts to make different professions, personal choices and career paths real.

We’d love to hear your stories of how Glasgow Credit Union has helped your dreams thrive – whether it be funding a trip of a lifetime, getting you on the property ladder, helping you afford your dream wedding or something totally unique to you.  If you’d like to share your stories you can do so via Facebook or email [email protected].

International Credit Union Day is recognised by the World Council of Credit Unions, the global trade association and development agency for credit unions and other financial cooperatives, as well as numerous national credit union trade associations and federations around the world.
