Ahead of International Credit Union Day on 21 October, John Glen, the Economic Secretary to the Treasury and City Minister, visited Glasgow Credit Union on 14 October to discuss future changes to legislation that would enable credit unions to offer more products and services to their members.
The Minister has been a long-term supporter of the credit union sector and continues to champion the sector’s diverse range of products and services.
The visit brought together representatives from the National Credit Union Forum (NCUF), the Scottish League of Credit Unions (SLCU) and the Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL).
