Established in early 2020, African Relief Support is a Glasgow based charity set up to help with prevention or relief of poverty for asylum seekers. They support the vulnerable, elderly, and deprived people and ensure their health and wellbeing is maintained through the provision of food and sanitary parcels, workshops and meetings.
African Relief Support received a £1,000 donation from Giving Glasgow for them to purchase computers which will allow their service users to take part in online English lessons. Learning English will allow the users to integrate into the community, and will ease feelings of isolation and exclusion.
