A donation of £2,000 was made to the Gorbals based, Adelphi Nursery, to help them create a multi-cultural garden for their children. The nursery works with over 130 children from a range of ethnic backgrounds and the garden will help provide a space for their community to come together. Many of the children that attend the nursery live in high-rise flats and have little or no access to outdoor space. The Adelphi Nursery garden will be a place where children and their families can learn about growing vegetables and herbs, build relationships and practise mindfulness in nature.
