If you live or work within the ’G’ postcode area you can become a member of the Glasgow Credit Union from saving as little as £1 a week.

Plus, to reward members for saving, GCU offers it’s members a range of financial services as well as paying all members a competitive dividend on their savings which is calculated throughout the year and paid into a member’s account in time for Christmas.

There are 2 ways that you can pay into your Glasgow Credit Union account.  The first is directly from your wages or salary, which can be done if you are employed by an organisation that offers payroll deduction (ask your employer or contact Glasgow Credit Union to find out if your employer offers payroll deduction).  The second way to pay into your account is by Direct Debit.  This should only be used if your employer does not offer payroll deduction.  The application below covers both payroll deduction and Direct Debit, just complete the relevant sections.

Individual Membership Application From GCU Membership Application Form                                                              Simply print out the form, fill in the details and send it to Glasgow Credit Union.  Your ID will be verified using an on-line verification system.  If we are unable to verify your ID you will be asked to provide photographic proof of your ID and proof of your address before we can process your application form.
